T2D Workshop
Strategies Online Project-Based Learning
Tuesday 8 December | 13:30 – 15:00
OVERVIEW OF WORKSHOP
This year academics across the world have been required to quickly adapt to online environments while continuing to guide meaningful student learning experiences. For over a decade, Engineers Without Borders Australia and university teaching teams have been evolving community-centred project-based learning supported by rich online content through the EWB Challenge and associated programs. In this collaborative forum, participants will have the opportunity to explore different strategies available for guiding online student engagement with projects which are linked to real-world situations and social purpose. The session will also consider what’s been learnt through a forced shift to online learning, which might open up opportunities for genuinely immersive, inclusive and engaging blended project-based learning experiences in the future.
