Conference Sessions will be held in Building 2, University of Technology Sydney, City Campus, 15 Broadway, Ultimo NSW 2007.
The City Campus is located right on the edge of Sydney’s cosmopolitan central business district (CBD). The campus is only ten minutes’ walk from Central Railway Station and Central Bus Interchange, and even closer to the Sydney Light Rail. It lies on Broadway, one of the main roads through the Sydney CBD. Within walking distance are historic China Town, the Entertainment Centre and Darling Harbour’s public parks, gardens and amenities.
Central Railway Station links directly to the domestic and international air terminals at Kingsford Smith Airport. This allows simple access for conference delegates from other states and overseas, as Sydney is well-connected to US and Asian air transport hubs.
Being on the edge of the CBD, UTS City Campus is in close proximity to a range of accommodation types from luxury hotels to backpacker hostels to suit a range of budgets. As well as the hotels and hostels around Central Railway Station, there are many hotels in the Darling Harbour precinct which is only a short walk from the UTS City Campus.
Twenty minutes from the UTS City Campus is the beautiful Sydney Harbour. Here, conference delegates can sit outdoors with a view of the Sydney Opera House and sample Sydney’s excellent cuisine (not during conference time, obviously); visit the historic buildings of The Rocks, Sydney’s first colonial settlement, or stroll along the foreshore into the Royal Botanic Gardens for some peace, fresh air and magnificent harbour views.
